Si la plupart des personnes traumatis\u00e9es pr\u00e9sentent des sympt\u00f4mes \u00e0 court terme, la majorit\u00e9 d'entre elles ne d\u00e9veloppent pas de SSPT permanent (chronique). Toutes les personnes souffrant de SSPT n'ont pas v\u00e9cu un \u00e9v\u00e9nement dangereux. Certaines exp\u00e9riences, comme la mort soudaine et inattendue d'un \u00eatre cher, peuvent \u00e9galement provoquer un SSPT. Les sympt\u00f4mes apparaissent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement t\u00f4t, dans les trois mois suivant l'incident traumatique, mais parfois des ann\u00e9es plus tard. Les sympt\u00f4mes doivent durer plus d'un mois et \u00eatre suffisamment graves pour interf\u00e9rer avec les relations ou le travail pour \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme un SSPT.<\/p>\n<h3>Exemples de sympt\u00f4mes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Flashbacks et cauchemars li\u00e9s \u00e0 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement traumatique<\/li>\n<li>Des pens\u00e9es effrayantes<\/li>\n<li>\u00catre en \u00e9tat d'alerte et s'effrayer facilement<\/li>\n<li>Sentiment d'ins\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Sentiment d'\u00eatre \u00e0 bout de nerfs ou tendu<\/li>\n<li>Avoir des acc\u00e8s de col\u00e8re<\/li>\n<li>S'isoler des autres<\/li>\n<li>Se tenir \u00e0 l'\u00e9cart des lieux, des \u00e9v\u00e9nements ou des objets qui rappellent l'exp\u00e9rience traumatisante.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9viter les pens\u00e9es et les sentiments li\u00e9s \u00e0 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement traumatique<\/li>\n<li>Difficult\u00e9s de concentration ou de m\u00e9morisation<\/li>\n<li>Difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre des d\u00e9cisions<\/li>\n<li>Difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 dormir<\/li>\n<li>Tension musculaire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Traitements et pr\u00e9vention<\/h3>\n<p>Si vous souffrez d'un syndrome de stress post-traumatique, il est important de demander imm\u00e9diatement l'aide d'un professionnel. Il existe plusieurs types de th\u00e9rapies et de ressources disponibles. Veillez \u00e0 consulter un professionnel pour conna\u00eetre les options de traitement qui vous conviennent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-bottom: .75em;\">Outre les options de traitement professionnel, il existe des mesures pr\u00e9ventives que vous pouvez prendre pour r\u00e9duire votre niveau d'anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 et de stress avant qu'il ne d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e8re en SSPT. En voici quelques-unes :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pr\u00e9voir du temps dans votre journ\u00e9e pour vous d\u00e9tendre et vous ressourcer<\/li>\n<li>Construire et maintenir un syst\u00e8me de soutien avec des personnes qui peuvent comprendre ce que vous traversez.<\/li>\n<li>Pratiquer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des exercices de respiration et de m\u00e9ditation<\/li>\n<li>Manger de mani\u00e8re \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e<\/li>\n<li>Faire de l'exercice r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement<\/li>\n<li>Un sommeil de qualit\u00e9<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_3,1_3,1_3&#8243;
